This statement applies to the online shop at www.swing-collections.com, including its mobile presentation and the ordering process.
The responsible party is:
SWING Collections GmbH
Maassenstraße 77
46514 Schermbeck
Germany
Further company details are available in our legal notice.
Through this shop we provide a service in electronic commerce. We are therefore subject to the German Accessibility Strengthening Act (Barrierefreiheitsstärkungsgesetz, BFSG) and the accompanying regulation (BFSGV), which implement Directive (EU) 2019/882 (European Accessibility Act).
2. What we offer
We sell women’s outerwear, in particular dresses for special occasions, to consumers. The shop covers the brands SWING and Hey Kyla.
Through the shop you can:

• create a customer account and view your orders
• return items and exercise your right of withdrawal
• contact our customer service
3. How an order works
1. Selection. You choose an item, select size and colour, and add it to the basket.
2. Basket. You see all items, prices, shipping costs and the total amount.
3. Checkout. You enter your delivery and billing address and choose a shipping and payment method. Ordering is possible with or without a customer account.
4. Review. Before submitting, you see a summary and can correct all entries.
5. Order. By clicking the order button you place a binding order.
6. Confirmation. You receive an order confirmation by email.
7. Returns. How to return items is described under shipping and returns. Your right of withdrawal is explained in the withdrawal policy.
Service providers are involved in the ordering and payment process, for example for payment handling. We work towards ensuring that these components are accessible as well.
4. Applicable requirements and how we meet them
The relevant provisions are Sections 3 and 14 BFSG and Sections 12 and 19 BFSGV. The technical benchmark is the harmonised standard EN 301 549 in the version referenced in the Official Journal of the European Union. That standard refers to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, conformance level AA.
To meet these requirements, we apply the following measures in our online shop:
• Structure. Pages are organised using headings and landmark regions so that they can be navigated directly with assistive technologies. A skip link leads straight to the main content.
• Text alternatives. Images that convey information are given text alternatives.
• Perceivability. Information is not conveyed by colour alone. Text can be enlarged without loss of content.
• Operability. The functions of the shop can be reached and operated using a keyboard.
• Forms. Input fields are labelled, required entries are marked, and errors are identified and explained.
• Understandability. We use clear language and a consistent page structure. The language of each page is declared in the markup.
• Compatibility. We rely on standards-compliant markup so that content can be interpreted reliably by screen readers and other assistive technologies.
• Ongoing development. We review the accessibility of our shop on an ongoing basis, taking account of changes to our service and to the applicable requirements and standards.
5. Areas that are not yet fully accessible
A review of our online shop identified the following point:
• Link text. Some links do not have a clearly recognisable link text. As a result, screen reader users cannot always tell where a link leads. This affects, among others, the wishlist link in the page header. We are already working on a fix and will implement it with the next technical update of our shop.
A review cannot capture every conceivable barrier. If you notice anything further, please tell us using the contact details in section 7. We follow up on every report we receive.
6. Additional display settings
In addition, the shop offers a tool that lets you adjust settings such as font size, contrast, line spacing and colour rendering.
This tool is a voluntary supplementary offer. It does not replace accessible design of our shop, and you do not need to use it in order to use the shop.
7. Reporting accessibility barriers
Have you encountered a barrier in our shop? Were you unable to use content or complete an order? Please write to us. We will reply within two working days.
